Parsley (Champion Moss Curled) — Approx. 600-625 sds/pkt. Produces fine foliage. The dense, closely curled, parsley grows to a very dark green. It makes for an excellent choice for flavouring soups, salads, and stews. This biennial herb is also a great option for a garnish and is very good for freezing.
Parsley (Single Hardy Italian) — Approx. 600-625 sds/pkt. Aflat-leaf variety of parsley. It has a stronger flavour than regular parsley and is a very popular addition to many dishes. For fresh parsley year-round, try growing in an indoor herb garden. This biennial herb is hardy to zone 3.
Peppermint — Approx. 800-900 sds/pkt. A well-known, low-maintenance herb plant. In addition, it is often used as a garnish for iced beverages, melons, and ice cream. Great for use with meat, fish, and many vegetables. This variety is well-suited for container growth. Plant indoors or outdoors, and enjoy this perennial herb all year long.
Sage — Approx. 40-50 sds/pkt. An excellent choice for adding a touch of aroma and earthy flavour to your garden and kitchen. Sage provides aromatic and flavorful leaves with a bluish tinge. This herb can be used with pork, poultry, and in stuffings. It also makes a delicious tea that is said to soothe a sore throat.
Spearmint — Approx. 800-900 sds/pkt. This versatile herb can be used in baking, vegetable and meat dishes, sauces, preserves, jellies and beverages. A great choice for home gardens, and hardy to Zone 3. Plants can be invasive if allowed to spread freely and should be planted in a container. Water generously in dry weather.
Thyme — Approx. 775-800 sds/pkt. Produces attractive bushy plants with tiny grey-green leaves. This versatile herb is used to flavour most meat, fish, and vegetable dishes, and it can also be used as a plant for rock gardens and edging. It prefers hot, dry conditions, making it the perfect variety for an indoor herb garden.
